NorESM is a software suite for performing global climate simulations developed by the Norwegian EarthClim consortium.

In general, NorESM can be built from the unmodified source code. The base code (infrastructure, atmospheric, land, sea ice and coupling models are baseed on the NCAR CESM1 model.
License
License: Free.
NorESM is "free" software however a short registration must be filled out for access to the CESM1 base code and contact with the Norwegian EarthClim consortium is required.
